WASTE ENGINE OILS

By disposing of your waste engine oil with us you are contributing to the protection of our environment and earth's natural resources. The oils we collect are processed into non-virgin fuels for use in power generation.

HYDRAULIC OILS

The polluted lubricating oil is purified and reused by taking off water-solubility, acid, alkali and impurity.

OIL AND FUEL FILTERS

Fuel filters are drained of fuel and the fuel reused. The resulting metal can be recycled.

OILY RAGS AND ABSORBENTS

On arrival at our plant, oil is extracted from the rags and wipes, pumped into a tank and taken away for use as fuel. The rags are washed and reused as clean rags.

WASTE INTERCEPTOR CLEANING

Waste interceptors stop oil getting into the water course. We remove the oil from these interceptors.

Q: What environmental documentation do I need and what part do I to play?

A: Scotland is regulated by the 1996 Special Waste Regulations which stipulates what wastes have been deemed as 'special' and how they are transported via a "consignment note. Special garage includes oil, batteries, oil filters, oil contaminated wipes and absorbents and all these must be transported via a "consignment note"

A statutory three-day notice period must be given to SEPA (pre-notification) and the completion of a five-part document (the Consignment note) during the waste's disposal. We handle all of the paperwork.
